Le Corti was born in San Casciano for agriculture and built to be admired. Our family has owned it
without interruption since 1427. Following recent restoration, the Villa has regained in full its twofold role as a farm estate and as a splendid stage on which commonly-held values and diverse experiences ntertwine.The present occasion is the Alla Corte delVino show and market, which brings togetherì Tuscany’s finest producers.Two activity-packed days that give the wine lover the opportunity to discourse on fine wine and food, to take part in tasting seminars and creative luncheons, and to purchase wines directly from the producers themselves, all taking place in La Corte, the heart of the estate.The guests who protect and promote high quality do so not in a common trade event, but in a context where that quality is born, and they thus prove themselves respecters of history and creators of culture.Which means, quite simply, to understand, and to offer to one’s emotions the means for even further understanding.We are about to celebrate the eleventh annual show and market, and like all the previous editions, it sets as its goal the shifting of the perception of quality wine from an item of consumption to an object of the intellect, from a luxury object to a cultural product.
In this fashion, we can showcase the important role of Tuscany, in Italy and throughout the world, in one of the world’s most prestigious fields.The more we commit ourselves to this path the more we will succeed in safeguarding the traditions of our culture and of our Tuscan land.
